KOBE NOURISM

Journey Beyond the Guidebook. Deep Dive into Tohoku & Asia

[ApacCHRIE Excursion Tour Accommodation Option 1] Farm Stay

*This plan is an optional plan for participants of the ApacCHRIE's excursion tour in Kobe. Please be sure to apply for both plans as a set. 〇Excursion Tour Details URL https://kobenourism.book.ntmg.com/products/4f3a5b6e-38d3-5f6d-9551-0e70a537ac32?lng=en-US ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Why not spend another night in Japan's satoyama? This optional plan allows you to experience daily life at a farmer's home, cooking and tasting local food. Welcoming us will be farmer Kosuke Tsurumaki. Kosuke moved to Ogo-cho, located in the mountains of Kobe, 11 years ago, and while working as a sweet potato farmer, he is also involved in nurturing farming families and encouraging people to move there. He lives his life in Japan's rural areas, cherishing the customs, culture, and ideas that have been passed down for generations. Kosuke's home is a Japanese-style house nestled in a rural area surrounded by rice fields. In this quiet space, you can spend time as you like, cooking and tasting meals together, sleeping and waking up. You will experience farm life in a way that you cannot get through special activities or sightseeing tours. One of the joys of traveling is hearing stories about areas not found in guidebooks from local residents. Why not get ahead of the pack and experience the charms of Kobe's lesser-known rural areas? ----------------------------------------------------------------------- *This program is produced by KOBE NOURISM and guraduate of Ritsumeikan University Business School Master of Administration in Tourism management. Ayaka Usui, an RBS graduate, leads KOBE NOURISM, an organization working to revitalize rural areas of Kobe City through tourism. This excursion is our first step in creating new inbound tourism experiences, and we’re excited to welcome you. Your feedback is highly appreciated! *All images are for illustrative purposes only.
